AqaCat will absorb up to 18 times its own weight in oil-based products, even when wet. AqaCat has been designed to be used on small-scale spills in a variety of applications including:- Harbours Docks Wharves Marinas Refuelling depots Bird sanctuaries Pools Rivers or lakes AqaCat can be spread over a spill surface and unlike most absorbents, will absorb trace water and eliminate sheen. AqaCat is particularly well suited as a filtration medium for removing hydrocarbons from storm water collection systems, sump pits and interceptor systems.
